Here is some valuable information I have developed over my many years in DESIGN this information will give you the kick start as well as the confidence you need to Decorate with color. Adding a pop of color can change the entire feel of a room. Color creates a mood in the room that can be anywhere from calm and classic, earthy delights to exotic brights or a glamorous evening look. When you change the color you create the mood of the room. Color is one of the design elements clients seem to get stumped on. I advise clients when they get stumped to look in their closets. The colors and style they wear are the colors they are comfortable being surrounded by. Color trends in Home Design follow the colors and trends in the fashion world. You start seeing the influence in Home Design about six months after it hits the fashion world. As you look in your closet you will see a color repeated and maybe even an accent color. A style will even emerge, whether it be the glamourous or the calm and classic. You should use a color you find the most or your favorite color of blouse, skirt,tie etc... to inspire the possibilities of your room. You can use this color, and maybe add an accent wall to create an eye catching, inspiring environment that you will love to come home to. Be creative! Why settle for ordinary when you can transform your room into...the room you've always dreamed of, and as a good friend always says " Your only one coat of paint away from the color you realy love".
